Aristide Colleyville | Sameer & Susan

This wedding was so much fun! Sameer & Susan live in Abu Dhabi, which is a place I had the privilege of visiting for just short of a month in my previous career. I absolutely LOVED the split East/West culture in this amazing city. So, when Susan contacted me about her wedding that she was having practically in my own backyard, I was thrilled to cover their day for them! Susan is from Keller, Texas and we actually went to the same High School! She is an international flight attendant, so we literally had people from all around the world, including Australia and Japan come join the fun!

They brought in so many fun traditions from their home such as a Henna party (not shown from another day), as well as a fun entry of for the couple with drums and singing. We had a blast to be sure.

Susan’s portraits were also really important to her and she wanted some nature type photos, so we also went to one of my favorite parks down the road for photos. This was a great way to mix it up a bit from having only venue photos.
