Dublin, Texas, a quaint little town, known to any Dr. Pepper lover as its birthplace, served as the picturesque backdrop for Josh and Brooklyn’s beautiful day. They chose this scenic setting to celebrate their day with family and friends. With an overcast day that created the perfect lighting, their wedding was a truly celebration of love and nature’s beauty.

The wedding venue, including an enchanting rock alter and beautiful barn and with tons of open space, provided the ideal setting for an outdoor ceremony. The barn, with its weathered wooden exterior, was adorned with fairy lights, and long rows of seating for guests with roses, greenery and candles, created a warm and inviting atmosphere that showcased their color palette of sage, rust, dusty rose, and gold creating a harmonious blend of earthy and romantic elements.

The ceremony was filled with heartfelt moments and lots of giggling. My favorite part, that was a first in my 14 years as a wedding photographer was when the minister teased them, delaying the official “kiss”… Brooklyn announced them married herself and grabbed her groom and kissed him! This was definitely MY favorite part of the day, seeing her excitement to officially be Mrs. Lucero!

After a few beautiful sunset photos, the couple joined their guests for a delicious plated meal from Blue Mesa Grill (one of my favs!), and then after some cake and toasts, the party moved outdoors with the Royal Dukes Band. As the night progressed, the dance floor came alive, and tons of fun was had by all before the the newlyweds headed out to start their new life with a sparker grand exit!
