Its that time of year when the days are getting realllly long! For most people, this is a great thing, but if you talk to a photographer, it can make things a bit more difficult for scheduling sessions, because the ideal time for shooting is right at sunrise (630am) or right before sunset (7pm). Typically, that automatically means that we are going to shoot at sunset because meeting at 6:30am with hair, makeup and wedding dress attire complete isn’t many people’s idea of a good time. But, Brian & Katrin really wanted a Day After session (a portrait session in wedding attire any day after the wedding), and they had a honeymoon to get to, so we sucked it up and met at the gorgeous Wildwood Inn at 6am. I PROMISED that it would be worth it and they were both willing AND good sports about it (I think I was still pretty blurry eyed). Brian and Katrin, thank you so much for trusting me with the images from your beautiful wedding day and this amazing Day After Session 🙂

A “Day After” session can be booked for any time after your wedding day. You can dress back up fully as Brian & Katrin did for their session, or you can go a bit more casual with some fun shoes and props. These sessions are so much fun. We get to fully plan and take our time to create magical images, which can be limited on your actual wedding day.
