FAQs

Q: Do you belong to any professional organizations?
A: Yes!  I belong to the Professional Photographers of America and Wedding & Portrait Photographers International.

Q: What type of weddings have you photographed?
A: I have photographed Catholic, Baptist, non-denominational, Vietnamese and Nigerian weddings.   I have photographed outdoor and indoor weddings in a variety of settings from out in the country to low-lit churches and hotels.

Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes. I have general business liability, equipment and malpractice insurance.  I can provide proof of insurance if your venue requires it.

Q: Do you belong to any charitable organizations?
A: Yes!  I am a member of Operation: Love Reunited.

Q: How many weddings do you shoot per day?
A: I never book more than one wedding per day.

Q: How many pictures do you take?
A: As many as needed to record your special day or in the case of a portrait session, as many needed to give you a good selection to choose from. I do not put a limit on or count how many images I take.

Q: Do you supply digital images?
A: Yes!  All wedding packages include a disk containing your high-resolution images with a print release.  If an engagement/bridal session is included with your package, those images are also included.

Q: What photo lab do you use? Can you recommend one to me?
A: I use professional labs that cater to professional photographers only. But, I would be happy to recommend several labs for your photo processing that are reasonable, and who provide quality printing.  PLEASE don’t process your pictures at Target, Walmart, etc.  I have done personal testing repeatedly at these locations and the color processing is terrible at best.

Q: What kind of equipment do you shoot with?
A: I use professional Nikon equipment including flashes, many lenses needed for different effects, external lighting and backdrops. I also have a backup body and flash to ensure nothing prevents me from recording your special day.  I also now have an infrared camera!  This camera creates mystical looking images that will really stand out and make your wedding photos unique!

Q: Do you have a backup plan in case of an emergency that prevents you from shooting?
A: While I haven’t had this happen yet, and I don’t plan for it to in the future, I do have three photographers that I can contact last minute with a similar style and quality that I provide that can step in to shoot.  I also am a part of a local online forum that also has a forum dedicated to wedding photographers that I can turn to as well.

Q: Are the images in color or black and white?
A: I shoot in color and convert as I deem appropriate for black and white, sepia, and many other processing methods.  If you are interested in seeing a picture processed differently, just ask!

Q: How do I view my photos?
A: You will be sent a link to my client gallery approximately 3-6 weeks after your wedding. You are welcome to forward this to family and friends to make purchases. It will stay online for one month from the time it is posted.

Q: Do you do skin touchup?
A: Yes!  All of my images have been individually edited to enhance your skin, eyes and everything else to make sure you look your very best!
