Today, I went to meet little Miss Briley at her home. She is 10 weeks old and she immediately melted my heart. I walked in to say hi and check out the environment before lugging in all of my stuff and Briley was laying on the floor. I went to see her and immediately she started smiling away.
Not only was she happy then, she stayed happy the whole session. This is a first for me! I typically at some point annoy most babies with me trying to pose them, but not her. She just looked at me with her big, big baby blues and then we got her to sleep for the rest of the session.
I hope to be able to continue watching this little cutie-pie turn into a little lady!

This is sweet little baby Henley. She is 7 days old now. Her Daddy is in the army and on his R&R leave, but he will be headed back to Alfghanistan in a few more days. She is my first military newborn, so you know I had to really do up the red, white and blue

Many of my friends know that I travel to Waco quite frequently to shoot either bridals or weddings at the gorgeous Earl Harrison House. Kathy, who runs it (she makes me tired just watching her) asked me if I would take pictures of her first grandchild that was due to be born in a few weeks. To say that I was honored was putting it mildly with all of the photographers that she sees weekly.
So, yesterday, I got the call from her daughter-in-law, Nikki (who also works at the Earl Harrison House) to book her appointment. I was actually booked for the remainder of the week and he was already 7 days old, so I asked, “what about today?” She was available, so I hoped in my car and drove to Waco to meet this cute little guy.

This cute little guy is Luke. We had a full family session, followed by some newborn pictures. I, of course, processed these first. His big baby blues are just beautiful.
