Yesterday, I met this beautiful couple up at one of my favorite locations; the McKinney Cotton Mill. Right now, it is HOT, HOT, HOT. This is an old, dirty, musty, UNAIRCONDITIONED building. Right now, it is an oven. When we leave, we are quite literally dripping with sweat. As I always have said, my clients are such good sports doing whatever I ask of them. In this case, sweating and walking over 10 ft drops only covered with plywood in high heels to get THE shot. It paid off, don’t you think?
Congratulations to you two and have fun in Vegas getting married!

Wow, how do I get so lucky to have such wonderful & beautiful couples? I’m not quite sure myself, but you won’t hear any complaints from me! This is Manuel & Fabiola. Not only are they gorgeous, they happened to be very cool, understanding people too!
On my way to their engagement session, the worst thing happened. My car died about 5 minutes from our shoot location. It wouldn’t start for NOTHIN’. So, of course, the first thing I did was call them. They happened to be a few minutes from getting off at the exit I was located, so they stopped and picked me up and we went and shot their session. They then took me back to my car and I handled everything from there. Gosh, how embarrassing!!
Thankfully, I have some gorgeous pictures to show from it This was my first session at the beautiful Las Colinas Canals. . . . → Read More: Las Colinas Canals Engagement Session | Manuel & Fabiola are engaged!

Let me tell you, I have the best job ever. Many of my clients and friends know that I am a part of Operation: Love Reunited. This charity has introduced me to some wonderful people. My first “coming home” session was Dwayne & Misty.
Misty contacted me while Dwayne was in Afphanistan. You see, Dwayne & Misty were childhood friends/sweethearts. They grew up together. Then, one day Dwayne went off to boot camp and Misty went to college. They lost touch from eachother until 13 years later! I was lucky enough to be there to capture Dwayne’s brother, sister, son and Misty meet him at the airport. It was the first time Dwayne & Misty had seen eachother in all those years. I’ve been friends with these guys ever since!
After 2 short weeks, Dwayne went back overseas to finish his tour. Meanwhile, they got engaged and Misty moved up to Washington. Dwayne . . . → Read More: Fort Worth Stockyards Engagement Photographer | Dwayne & Misty are engaged!

Jake was a clown during our session and made Alyssa giggle the whole time. They are so sweet to see together

This is Kevin & Ashley They are one of my newest couples, and you will be seeing quite a bit of them! I will also be shooting Ashley’s bridals and their big wedding day. This session was the second time I had met with them (the first being to meet and go over the contract).
I tell most of my couples that during our session, to just act like they are on a date with lots of affection and PDA and that I will be there to capture it. I also understand that 95% of the time that I will throw out the first pictures because it takes awhile for everyone to warm up to me there clicking away.
That was the case every time until this session! Kevin and Ashley were so cute and so very comfortable with eachother. I barely did any posing at all, they just naturally look at . . . → Read More: Historic Grapevine Engagement Photographer | Kevin & Ashley are engaged!

Cedric and Alicia had their engagement session at the beautiful South Side on Lamar building. This is one of the coolest locations I have had the chance to shoot at. We didn’t even come close to shooting in all the wonderful little alcoves in the buildings, so if anyone else wants a session there, just let me know!! Thank you to Visions in White for letting me play with you!
