Shanna and I both cried during the ceremony. Thankfully, we had big hunks of titanium in front of our faces, so no one could see us acting like girly-girls. We are professionals dangit!
Kandy’s father ended up getting very ill and was hospitalized, I believe about a week before the wedding and was unable to attend. Kandy is very close with her father and this broke her heart, but she knew he wanted her to be happy. Her grandfather ended up walking her down the aisle.

Kevin, sees Kandy for the first time

You will start to see that this is how Kevin always looks if he is looking at Kandy. You can see he absolutely adores her.
After Kandy finished reading her vows she wrote, she got so tickled and excited, that she just went ahead and kissed Kevin!

After the ceremony, it was very emotional. I don’t think there was a person there that didn’t have tears in their eyes.
Right after this, Kevin and Kandy both went and hugged their moms.

Now, on to the party!
The sweet first dance as husband and wife…
Kevin says, “do I have cake on my face?” Kandy kissed it off for him
Kandy and Kevin thanked everyone for coming to their wedding. They were so honored to have people travel from ALL OVER the WORLD to be with them on their day. I think everyone else felt honored to be there. We certainly did.
Kevin plans to be naughty. This is just the beginning for Kandy!
Ok, here goes the disclaimer! The pictures from this point on are a bit sexy The groom and groomsmen (Kevin’s brothers) started stripping for Kandy to the song, “I’m too sexy.” Really, it was hilarious and all stayed rated PG. They only ditched the ties, vest and shirts. It was about 150 degrees out and these guys were just looking for an excuse to get out of their tuxes
And the grand exit! Notice Kevin never did put his shirt back on…
Kevin and Kandy, it was truly our pleasure to be there to capture your day. Your family and friends are wonderful and they are a true testament to what wonderful people you are. Good luck to you both and be sure to take care of each other while you are out there protecting our country!
